Ingredients

  • 200g winter melon
  • a handful of Job’s tears
  • 250g pork lean meat
  • 1 piece of ginger
  • moderate salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • ½ tbsp cooking wine
  • moderate starch

Instructions

  • Wash Job’s tears and soak in water for 4 to 5 hours.
  •  Peel the winter melon and cut into thick chunks. Slice the ginger.
  • Slice the lean pork, add a little salt, pepper, cooking wine and starch, mix well, marinate for a while.
  • Pour water into the casserole, add the soaked and boil, then turn to a low heat and cook until the soup turns slightly white.
  • Add ginger slices and marinated pork slices. Cook for about 5 minutes.
  • Pour in winter melon and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Add appropriate amount of salt to season. Turn off the fire.
